Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai
Emphasizing Safety for Personnel at All Levels
on the Occasion of Patient Safety Goal Safety Week 2022
Recently Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai organized the Patient Safety Goal Safety Week 2022 at the hospital’s main conference hall to maintain the quality standard of health services in line with the standard of hospitals under the BDMS network. This event was to enhance the readiness of all levels of hospital staff and personnel by reinforcing the understanding of “International Patient Safety Standards” (International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) and implementing them in practice.
Because “Patient Safety” is the utmost goal that all personnel consider important.
As a hospital accredited with JCI standards, with a policy emphasizing patient-centered care (Patient Centricity), Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai recognizes the importance of hospital quality development processes to elevate the quality aspect of safety under the International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG). Therefore, regular training, development, and quality testing of personnel at all levels are organized continuously. Not only medical personnel from various professional fields providing direct patient care but also non-medical staff of the hospital need to have practical knowledge to enhance the safety for service users in all aspects, whether they are accountants and financial officers, procurement officers, HR officers, customer service officers, porters, interpreters, security officers, housekeepers, and IT officers, etc.
