The Hybrid OR allows the capabilities of both the cardiac catheterization room and the heart surgery room to be interchangeable during operation, so that the surgical team benefits from virtual imaging during heart surgery.

The state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization room utilizes a free-moving surgical bed, giving specialists precise maneuverability and ease of control, and results in greater efficiency and flexibility in accessing the surgical site.

Combined with top-notch Flexmove Full function virtual imaging technology and Software Heart Navigator technology, which captures detailed heart images from different angles, our medical team have the tools to make better decisions for patients with complicated heart conditions and increase overall patient safety.

The Hybrid OR is recommended for:

Patients with limitations due to age, or who need to undergo Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
Patients who need to undergo Endovascular Repair of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (EVAR), which may require immediate surgery.
Other patients who need surgery requiring advanced x-ray and virtual imaging equipment such as cerebrovascular, spinal cord, neurological and other conditions.

Procedures suited for a hybrid room:

Those who require surgical access (i.e., percutaneous valve replacement, thoracic or abdominal stented grafts)
For those where conversion to an open surgical procedure may be required (i.e., bailout or apical approach to percutaneous aortic valve replacement).
Hybrid treatments (i.e., combined PCI or other vascular stenting with surgical approaches.
Electrophysiology (EP) device implantation or removal.
Certain emergency procedures such as ECMO insertion or emergent thoracotomy.
