1997 – Establishment of the Hospital
Bangkok Trat Hospital officially opened on April 1, 1997 under the slogan “Modern Service with Family-like Care.”

2005 – Network Expansion
In 2005, the hospital expanded its services to Koh Chang by opening the “Koh Chang International Clinic.”

2011 – National and International Quality Achievements
- Bangkok Trat Hospital received Hospital Accreditation (HA) from the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (Public Organization).
- Koh Chang International Clinic became the first facility in Thailand to receive Ambulatory Care Standards accreditation from the Joint Commission International (JCI).
2014 – Expansion to Accommodate More Patients with Modern Facilities
The hospital expanded its Outpatient Department (OPD) to accommodate the growing number of patients, while also upgrading facilities and service systems to be more modern, convenient, efficient, and focused on creating a positive patient experience from the very first visit.

2017 – Advanced Diagnostic Services with CT Scan Technology
To meet the demand for accurate and timely diagnostics, the hospital installed a new CT Scan machine, providing high-resolution cross-sectional imaging to support physicians in making precise diagnoses—enhancing both patient safety and satisfaction.

2021 – Renovation of Inpatient Rooms on the 6th Floor
Renovations were carried out on the 6th-floor inpatient rooms, improving infrastructure, interior design, and amenities to create an environment conducive to patient recovery, while offering greater comfort, privacy, and service quality.

2023 – New Respiratory Department and MRI Installation

A new MRI machine was installed, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and safety, especially for neurological, muscular, and internal organ conditions.

The Respiratory Department was established to provide specialized care, diagnosis, and treatment for chronic and infectious respiratory diseases, which are increasingly prevalent today.

2024 – Construction of New Inpatient Building and Service Expansion

A new 7th-floor inpatient ward was constructed to increase room capacity and enhance comfort for both patients and families.

Service areas on the 2nd floor were expanded and upgraded, including the Health Promotion Department, Obstetrics & Gynecology Department, and Finance Department, to better meet the growing demand for services.
