International Medical Services (IMS)
Our International Medical Services (IMS) department provides professional interpreters fluent in English, Japanese, German, Chinese, and Cambodian to ensure clear communication between patients and hospital staff. For additional languages, our Bangkok Hospital Network Interpreter Center offers a Tele-Interpreter service, supporting 14 languages, available 24 hours a day.
IMS also assists patients in managing healthcare expenses by coordinating with international health insurance providers under Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) policy. Patients are encouraged to present their health insurance cards and passports upon admission, allowing our staff to liaise with insurance companies to obtain coverage confirmation, thus reducing financial concerns during treatment.
Furthermore, IMS offers information via email and general coordination services to international patients, ensuring a comfortable and convenient hospital experience. The department operates daily from 08:00 to 18:00.
