Preparation Before Your Health Check-up
-
Patients should ensure adequate rest prior to the examination. Sleep deprivation, as well as the consumption of alcoholic beverages or caffeinated drinks on the night before the check-up, should be avoided, as these may result in elevated blood pressure readings.
-
Patients are advised to wear loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be easily rolled up to facilitate blood sample collection.
-
If an Exercise Stress Test (Treadmill Test) is scheduled, patients should wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear that allow free movement.
-
Female patients who plan to undergo a pelvic examination are advised to schedule the examination either before or at least seven (7) days after their menstrual period.
-
Fasting for 8–12 hours prior to the examination is required. Small sips of plain water are permitted.
