Global Handwashing Day, observed annually on 15 October, is an international campaign to motivate and mobilize people around the world to improve their handwashing habits.
On 15 October 2019, Dr. Weerasak Pongpattanapan, Hospital Director, opening the event of “Global Handwashing Day 2019” by Patient Safety Goal Working Team, Reduce the Risk of Infection, at Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, to raising awareness of handwashing with soap as a key factor in disease prevention.
