Lung Cancer Screening with Low-Dose CT: Detect Early, Treat Promptly, and Increase the Chance of a Cure
Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide, including in Thailand. One of the major challenges is that most patients have no symptoms during the early stages of the disease. By the time symptoms such as a persistent cough, coughing up blood, shortness of breath, chest pain, or unexplained weight loss appear, the cancer may already have progressed. This can make treatment more complex and reduce the likelihood of a cure.
