Recently, Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, together with Chiang Mai National Museum, organized the “Mobile Museum” activity in the hospital’s green area to enhance access to knowledge in history, archaeology, and Thai arts and culture, bringing it closer to the community.

The hospital’s green area at Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai has been further developed into a “Green Learning Space” that seamlessly integrates learning with well-being, offering children, youth, and families using hospital services, as well as the Nong Pa Khrang community and nearby areas, the opportunity to share learning experiences in an environment conducive to development—physically, mentally, and intellectually. The concept also reflects “bringing knowledge to the people,” which not only helps reduce families’ travel expenses and time, but also indirectly helps reduce energy use and environmental impacts—another approach to sustainable urban development.

Dr. Narin Boonjongcharoen, Director of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai disclosed that:
“Today’s healthcare trend is not limited to treatment when illness occurs, but also covers creating an environment that supports people’s living and long-term growth. Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai therefore aims to develop into more than a medical facility, moving toward being Chiang Mai’s ‘Health Solution’ that integrates healthcare, learning, and quality of life in a balanced and sustainable way. We intend to create a safe learning atmosphere for both service users and medical personnel, while also opening the space for the community to participate and access valuable experiences in every dimension.”
Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai remains committed to developing the organization based on the principles of sustainability, believing that reducing environmental impacts, creating opportunities for access, and working with partners with quality are the key to long-term growth and values that can truly be passed on to the next generation.
