The Football Association of Thailand has officially approved the organization of the academic conference “Football Medicine 360°: Elevating Care, Performance & Unity”, designed for doctors and physiotherapists from Thai League clubs. The initiative aims to strengthen and elevate medical standards in Thai football.
This program is a collaboration between the Football Association of Thailand and Bangkok Hospital, and will be held on September 5, 2025, at Meeting Room 7R1, Bangkok Hospital Headquarters. The conference will provide a platform for exchanging knowledge in football medicine — covering physical and mental care, rehabilitation, performance recovery, and emergency management on the field.
The conference featured distinguished experts in sports medicine, including:
- Dr. Paisal Chantarapitak, Chairman of the Medical Committee, Football Association of Thailand, and AFC Medical Committee Member – The Football Athlete’s Journey
- Dr. Porntep Mamanee, Director of Bangkok Academy of Sports and Exercise Medicine (BASEM) – Optimizing Recovery & Nutrition for Peak Play
- Dr. Chanin Lamsam, Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon of College of Sport Sciences and Technology, Mahidol University – Bridging Medicine and Performance
- Dr. Varoth Chotpitayasunondh, Psychiatrist, Department of Mental Health – The Mental Game: Psychology’s Role in Football Success
- Dr. Pakapon Issaragrisil, Team doctor of Thailand National football team and AFC Medical Officer – FIFA Emergency Action Plan
This event represents a significant milestone for Thai football, advancing medical and rehabilitation standards to support both club and national team competitions effectively.
