Bangkok Hospital Headquarters continues to empower the dreams of the new generation of doctors with the activity “Bangkok Hospital New Gen Doctors Workshop #2,” igniting dream power and preparing for the future of new-gen doctors in its second year, following the positive feedback from the first year’s event where participants gained knowledge and had close-up real-life experiences.
Dr. Ekkit Surakarn, Deputy Director of Bangkok Hospital, delivered the welcome remarks and opened the event. Dr. Wasupol Manomaiphan, a cardiologist at Bangkok Heart Hospital, provided guidance on the path to becoming a physician. There were also learning activities and Medical Skills Workshops throughout the event, led by specialist physicians and skilled multidisciplinary teams, such as CPR workshops, Basic Life Support (BLS), critical patient care (ICU Care), suturing practice in a simulated operating room, and basic first aid for injured or emergency patients (First Aid), to prepare participants for their future medical careers. Additionally, lucky participants were selected to join the activity “Doctors Share, Robots Show,” elevating surgery with Robot-Assisted Surgery by trying the Surgeon Console and experiencing surgical robot technology that helps enhance surgical precision to improve patients’ quality of life.
The activity “Bangkok Hospital New Gen Doctors Workshop #2,” igniting dream power and preparing for the future of new-gen doctors in its second year, marks another important step for Bangkok Hospital in creating activities to prepare new-generation doctors—offering opportunities for young people interested in becoming physicians to discover their dream path, learn through hands-on practice, and gain a close understanding of the nature of the medical profession.
