Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) reaffirms its leadership in Value-Based Healthcare through the achievement of international ICHOM certifications across hospitals within its network. Granted by the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement, a globally recognized organization dedicated to developing standardized outcome measures that matter most to patients, the certification reflects BDMS’s unwavering commitment to advancing patient-centered care and delivering healthcare excellence aligned with the highest international standards. By emphasizing the measurement of patient outcomes before, during, and after treatment, the ICHOM framework supports the continuous enhancement of clinical quality, long-term recovery, and sustainable quality of life.

 

In 2026, BDMS is planning to accredit ICHOM Level 1 across a total of 18 hospitals within the BDMS network, of which several hospitals have already achieved ICHOM Level 1 listed as below:

1. Bangkok Heart Hospital (Heart Failure)
2. Bangkok Hospital Phuket (Heart Failure)
3. Bangkok International Hospital (Stroke)
4. Bangkok Hospital Sanam Chan (Stroke)
5. Bangkok Hospital Mueang Rat (Stroke)
6. Phyathai 1 Hospital (Stroke)
7. Phyathai 2 Hospital (Stroke)

In 2025, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya made history as the world’s first hospital to achieve ICHOM Level 2 Accreditation in both Coronary Artery Disease and Stroke, while also earning ICHOM Level 1 Accreditation in Heart Failure and Diabetes. Additionally in 2025, Wattanosoth Cancer Hospital became the world’s first hospital to receive ICHOM Level 2 Accreditation in Breast Cancer.
