The Surgical Oncology Center aims to provide care to cancer patients by applying the latest medical technology in a compassionate environment. Surgical Oncology involves the surgical treatment of cancer, tumors, and malignant neoplasms. For many patients, surgery will be combined with other cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or hormone therapy. At the center care is provided by experienced surgical oncologists supported by a multidisciplinary medical team who take into account emotional, as well as physical aspects of cancer treatment.
