Our team of multilingual interpreters and Medical Coordinators are available to assist overseas visitors and expatriates in overcoming language and cultural barriers when visiting the hospital. Support for 24 other languages is available to assist by phone 24/7. The International Medical Services Department can coordinate with other hospitals, third party insurance companies and local consulates and embassies if required.
TRICARE® Overseas Program
The Department of Defense’s health care program for Active Duty Service Members, Active Duty Family Members, and other eligible beneficiaries in geographical areas and waters outside of the U.S. International SOS is proud to support the U.S. military and their families overseas, ensuring quality health care no matter where their work or travels take them.
Foreign Medical Program (FMP)
For eligible Veterans living or traveling abroad, VA offers medical services through the Foreign Medical Program (FMP). Through this program, FMP will pay for health care services, medications, and durable medical equipment for service-connected conditions and conditions associated with and held to be aggravating a service-connected condition. VA may authorize foreign medical services for any condition if you are participating in the VA Vocational Rehabilitation Program (Title 38, U.S. Code, Chapter 31).
