Bangkok Hospital Udon

Stroke (Hemiplegia or Paralysis)
is one of the most common diseases among Thais, caused by a blockage in blood vessels that reduces blood flow to the brain.

Recognize the BEFAST warning signs:

  • B = Balance  Sudden dizziness or loss of balance

  • E = Eyes  Blurred or double vision suddenly

  • F = Face  Facial numbness or drooping on one side

  • A = Arm  Weakness or numbness in one arm or leg

  • S = Speech  Slurred speech or difficulty speaking

  • T = Time  Act fast — go to the hospital immediately

Early treatment saves lives and reduces long-term complications.
