MIS-C in Children
This condition can develop in children approximately 2–6 weeks after recovering from COVID-19, with symptoms including:
- Fever
- Red eyes
- Rash
- Swollen, red hands and feet
- In some cases, shock may occur
These symptoms are similar to Kawasaki Disease.
Therefore, parents of children who previously had COVID-19 should closely monitor for signs of MIS-C.
