On 5 August 2026, Somrit Jantrapatin, M.D., Director of Bangkok Hospital Samui, together with the hospital’s executives and staff, attended the Buddhist merit-making and memorial chanting ceremony at Samui Airport to pay tribute to Prasert Prasarttong-Osoth, M.D.
Dr. Prasert was the founder of Samui Airport and a visionary who laid the foundation for Bangkok Hospital and the BDMS network. He also played a pivotal role in advancing healthcare and tourism on Koh Samui, helping establish the island as an internationally recognized destination.
