On 9 September 2026, Bangkok Hospital Samui conducted its Annual Mass Casualty Incident Drill (CODE 3) 2026, simulating an active shooting incident at Ban Hat Ngam School to test our readiness to respond to violent incidents and manage a large number of casualties.
The safety of children and our community is our priority. Our teams trained through every critical step — from initial incident assessment and triage, to patient evacuation, transfer, and medical care within the hospital — while coordinating closely with relevant organizations in a systematic and effective manner.
We would like to sincerely thank the police officers, emergency medical and rescue foundations, and partner hospitals across Koh Samui for joining the drill and working together to strengthen emergency preparedness. True readiness is built through the cooperation and coordination of every sector.
