    Imaging Department

Providing radiological examination services, high-frequency sound waves, and electromagnetic waves. There are various examination programs, such as whole body examination, coronary artery disease examination, kidney examination, bone/lung/thyroid/liver/stomach, and intestine examinations, etc., which are reported by a radiology specialist.

Providing diagnosis and treatment services with radiology technology

    • General X-ray and portable X-ray
    • Computer X-ray machine
    • Magnetic resonance imaging machine (MRI – 1.5 Tesla)
    • Mammography machine
    • Intervention
    • Ultrasound machine

MRI – Magnetic Resonance Imaging 1.5 Tesla

It is a diagnostic equipment based on the magnetic properties of hydrogen atoms within the body. Under high electromagnetic field, it is able to detect abnormalities of various organs throughout the body which can examine various levels without having to change the patient’s position and with no need of X-ray use. It can examine organs clearly with high safety but very low radiation exposure risk. The lesions can be detected at an early stage. MRI can diagnose different parts of the body, such as the brain, spine. musculoskeletal system, biliary tract and gall bladder, and breast, etc.

    CT Scan

High-speed computed tomography with high resolution can create up to 64 images per 1 rotation (360 degrees) with a speed of only 0.4 seconds. It can accurately examine almost every part of the body, even the heart which is an organ that is constantly moving. It can reduce the amount of radiation by more than double, generate clear images in both 2D and 3D, and help diagnose various diseases more efficiently and quickly, allowing the examination of critically ill patients, emergency patients, and pediatric patients to be processed more quickly.

    Digital Mammogram and Breast Ultrasound

Digital mammogram machine is a special type of X-ray machine used for breast examination. It is more effective than film-based mammogram machine. The patient will be exposed to low radiation but get the result that is correct and accurate up to 90%. It can clearly differentiate fat and different types of breast tissue, can find breast abnormalities, location of the tumor, other pathological conditions, lumps smaller than 1 centimeter, and cancerous tissues in the early stages where the changes remain only in the tissues within the milk ducts that couldn’t be found by self check. The examination procedure is safe and does not cause any harm to the breast, even those who have had breast augmentation can receive a breast examination. There will be a breast ultrasound examination as well in order to take the results of both examinations into consideration, making the diagnosis more accurate.
