Symptoms to watch for: May be at risk for cancer
- Abnormal bleeding – such as blood in the stool, urine, or unexplained vaginal bleeding
- Rapidly growing lumps or bumps – especially in the breast or lymph nodes
- Chronic wounds – slow-healing or recurring wounds
- Hoarseness or chronic cough – especially if symptoms last longer than two weeks
- Abnormal bowel or urination – such as blood in the stool or urine or difficulty urinating
- Difficulty swallowing/unexplained weight loss – These are signs that shouldn’t be ignored

Who should get cancer screened?
- People aged 40 and over
- People with a family history of cancer
- People who engage in risky behaviors, such as smoking, drinking alcohol, or eating foods containing carcinogens.
