Congratulations to Dr. Niti Navanimitkul, urologist at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, for reaching a remarkable milestone—successfully performing UroLift procedures for 50 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Dr. Niti becomes the first in Thailand to achieve this record, reinforcing his pioneering role in advanced urological care.
This achievement was celebrated by Dr. Chanisa Innachit, Assistant Director of Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, and Mr. Kuo-Hau Wei, Senior Commercial Manager, SEA Interventional Urology from Teleflex Medical (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who commended Dr. Niti for his dedication to innovation and patient-centered care.
Notably, Dr. Niti was also the first to perform the UroLift procedure in Thailand’s Eastern region, offering a breakthrough minimally invasive treatment for men with enlarged prostate. The UroLift system works by lifting and holding the enlarged prostate tissue away from the urethra, relieving urinary symptoms without the need for general anesthesia, hospital stay, or catheterization. The procedure also preserves sexual function, offering patients a quicker recovery and improved quality of life.
