Bangkok Hospital Pattaya’s Eye Center recently hosted its academic conference “Clarity in Care, Vision in Practice,” uniting over 300 healthcare professionals both on-site and online. The event, opened by Hospital Director Dr. Piyaporn Thipayarat, focused on knowledge-sharing and innovation in ophthalmic care, featuring speakers from the Thai Red Cross Eye Center and hospitals across Thailand.
Topics ranged from advanced cataract and retinal disease management to diabetic retinopathy and modern corneal transplant techniques—empowering ophthalmology teams to deliver safer, more effective patient care.
This academic initiative aligns with Bangkok Hospital Pattaya’s broader vision to serve as a leading ophthalmology hub in the Eastern region. Following the hospital’s milestone achievement last May its first successful corneal transplant performed in collaboration with the Thai Red Cross Eye Center, the Eye Center continues to lead with innovation and patient-centric advancement.
Central to this progress is the hospital’s commitment to Value-Based Healthcare, where care is tailored to each patient’s goals and life outcomes. By integrating patient experience data into service development, the Eye Center ensures treatment is not only clinically sound but also deeply aligned with what matters most to patients their quality of life.
