Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, in collaboration with the Huai Sat Yai Subdistrict Administrative Organisation (SAO), organised the “BDMS Basic Life Support Training” programme for Huai Sat Yai SAO officers and local residents at Rai Thip Ocha Khiri Farmstay, Pa La-U, Huai Sat Yai, Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, on 18 August 2026.
The opening ceremony was jointly presided over by Mr Prachum Sroisom, Deputy Chief Executive of Huai Sat Yai SAO, and Ms Penphak Khumphai, Chief Administrator of Huai Sat Yai SAO. Ms Praewphan Jarernsrithongkool, Registered Nurse, Referral Hospital Relations Coordinator, and Basic Life Support and First Aid Instructor at Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin, represented the hospital at the opening ceremony and served as an instructor, alongside instructors from the partner network.
The programme comprised both theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training, covering basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and how to respond to choking and airway obstruction. It aimed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond correctly and promptly in an emergency, as well as to share what they had learnt with those around them and the wider community.
