Every woman aged 20 and above should start regularly examining their own breasts to check for any abnormalities that might occur.
Breast palpation uses three fingers to gently press in small spiral movements over the entire breast area. There are several methods, and you can choose any method.
Method 1: Palpation in a vertical line
Move from beneath the breast to the collarbone, palpating from top to bottom or bottom to top.
Method 2: Palpation in a wedge shape
Move in a straight radial line either inward or outward, just the same on the top of the breast.
Method 3: Palpation in a spiral
You can palpate in a direction both counter-clockwise or clockwise.
