Dr. Supalak Thomaneesiri Assistant Director of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Rai and a neurologist specializing in brain and nervous system disorders, led a multidisciplinary team from the hospital to provide health education to members of the Elderly Club in Nang Lae Subdistrict under the topic “Stroke and Risk Prevention.”

The activity included educational sessions on the warning signs of stroke, basic self-care, methods to reduce risk factors, and rehabilitation approaches after conditions such as hemiparesis or paralysis. The multidisciplinary team—comprising nurses, dietitians, and physical therapists—also provided practical guidance that elderly participants could apply in their daily lives.
This initiative was organized to strengthen community health knowledge, promote disease prevention through proper awareness, and contribute to improving the quality of life of elderly people in the community in a sustainable way.
