Bangkok Hospital Chiang Rai Grants Scholarships under the “Vejdusit Foundation – Nurturing Seeds, Building Future Nurses” Program
Ms. Arthitaya Taweesawasboondee, Assistant Nursing Manager of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Rai, together with the nursing team, visited executives from the School of Nursing, University of Phayao, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Phayao, Mae Fah Luang University, and Chiang Rai College to present scholarships to first–third year nursing students under the “Vejdusit Foundation – Nurturing Seeds, Building Future Nurses” program of the Vejdusit Foundation under Royal Patronage.
The program aims to expand educational opportunities for students in nursing and midwifery, professions that play a vital role in healthcare and continue to face workforce shortages. Each scholarship provides 70,000 THB per year for four years, totaling 280,000 THB per student throughout the program, with no requirement for repayment or post-graduation service obligations.
The Vejdusit Foundation hopes that scholarship recipients will use the knowledge and opportunities they receive to develop themselves and pursue their profession with integrity and dedication, becoming an important force in advancing the nursing profession and strengthening the healthcare system of Thailand in the future.
