Bangkok Hospital Chiang Rai, led by Udomsak Tangchaisuriya, M.D., Emergency Medicine Physician, organized a Basic Life Support (CPR) training session to enhance emergency response knowledge and life-saving skills for members of the Thasud Municipality community, including local residents, Public Safety Assistants (PRS), and school health teachers.

During the training, participants gained both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice in essential life-saving techniques, including how to assess patients in emergency situations, perform effective CPR, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The session also emphasized the importance of providing timely and appropriate assistance before medical professionals arrive, which can significantly increase survival chances and reduce the severity of complications.

This initiative aims to empower community members with the confidence and capability to respond to emergency situations effectively and correctly. Strengthening first-response skills within the community plays an important role in improving public safety and supporting a faster emergency care process.
Bangkok Hospital Chiang Rai remains committed to continuously promoting health education and first aid knowledge for the community, encouraging people to play an active role in saving lives and contributing to a safer society.
