Varicose Veins Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai Varicose veins are unpleasant to the fashion-conscious, especially when showing skin. Pretty girls should always pay attention to the look of their legs, particularly the area around their calves, creating confidence in those who are interested in fashion. It is possible for varicose vein symptoms to occur unexpectedly. Some people may have muscle discomfort, leg pain, tiredness, edema in the legs and feet, or nighttime cramps. The veins might look like those of red, green, or purple spiderwebs.
In the early stages, varicose veins occur as veins sized between 1-3 millimeters, commonly appearing as green lines under the skin, despite their tiny size, usually 1-5 millimeters.

Who is at risk for varicose veins in the legs?

    • Jobs that require a lot of sitting or standing.
    • Compared to men, women are more likely to get the illness, particularly when pregnant.
    • As one gets older, the risk rises.
    • Leg varicose veins are more likely to occur in people who weigh more.
    • The genetic history of the condition increases susceptibility.
    • Insufficient exercise impairs the effectiveness of the leg muscles, which support blood circulation and increase vulnerability.
Varicose veins are anomalies in the veins that enlarge and twist as a result of uneven blood flow, particularly in the legs. Blood pools in the legs as a result. Varicose veins are merely the first sign of chronic venous insufficiency. Inappropriate care can cause it to worsen into more serious conditions. In order to prevent symptoms from getting worse, expert vascular surgeon Dr. Termpong Reanpang stresses keeping an eye on one’s own or loved ones’ symptoms. These symptoms can be divided into five categories:

    1. Those who are at risk for varicose veins frequently experience weariness, a heaviness in the legs, or a sensation of tightness in the calves as their initial symptoms. Long periods of sitting or standing exacerbate the symptoms. These symptoms are a result of the enlargement of spider veins. Leg elevation or massage can help relieve the discomfort.
    2. The first signs of chronic venous insufficiency are varicose veins, which eventually give rise to more serious symptoms. People may have deteriorating symptoms during the course of a 10-year observation, including increased frequency of varicose veins, leg edema, leg swelling, inflammatory skin, pain, bluish discoloration, and, in extreme situations, the development of chronic ulcers.
    3. Smaller, clearly purple veins known as telangiectasia are more likely to break and cause direct ulcers on the vein walls, which could result in severe blood loss.
    4. Blood clots can be fatal if they move to the lungs and are caused by poor blood flow in varicose veins. Therefore, if you experience pain or swelling in your varicose veins, consult a doctor.
    5. Long-term stagnant blood flow results in leg ulcers or chronic wounds due to a lack of circulation.
Therefore, it is strongly advised that anyone experiencing any symptoms or risk factors related to varicose veins obtain the proper medical guidance and treatment.     Termpong Reanpang, M.D. Vascular surgeon Surgery Clinic  | Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai Tel. 052 089 888  Or Call Center 1719 Line Official  @bangkokchiangmai
