The workshop adhered to the standards set by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS), a globally recognized standard for the safety of critical patient transport by both ground ambulances and air ambulances.

The training included collaboration with local networks for patient referrals. On July 12, 2024, Chiang Mai Air Sports conducted a simulated air patient transport drill.
