Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai takes pride once again in receiving accreditation for CAMTS & CAMTS Global: Dual Medical Transport Accreditation, a global standard for patient mobility safety, the only one in the northern region.
Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai emphasizes readiness development in ensuring safety for emergency accident patients. Our emergency medical team, nurses, and staff are experts in caring for accident and emergency patients, capable of providing initial treatment immediately at the scene. We ensure the procedures, treatment planning, and coordination for patient transfer are timely, reducing the risk of death and disability.
With readiness whether by land, water, or air, we provide emergency medical helicopter services or Sky ICU, offering aviation medical services to save lives and transport critical patients needing quick and minimally invasive relocation. Our helicopters, part of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services network, are equipped with a complete set of patient assistance equipment, comparable to or exceeding general ICUs.
The Emergency Medical Services center, under Bangkok Dusit Medical Services PCL or BDMS EMERGENCY SERVICES (BES), is accredited for quality standards in critical emergency patient transport by land, water, and air from CAMTS (The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems) USA.
And accredited by CAMTS Global (The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems Global) for two consecutive years (2025-2028), making us the second provider in Asia
and third globally to receive dual accreditation for medical transport by CAMTS – CAMTS Global “Dual Accreditation”.
We received the world’s first accreditation for water-based patient transport by ship, and are the first in Asia to be accredited for all categories of patient transport.
