Congratulations to the Dental Department of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai for being awarded the certificate of recognition as the “Quality Dental Clinic of Chiang Mai Province” at the Chiang Mai Provincial Dental Conference 2021 on the topic “Private Dental Clinics According to the New Normal Dental Service Guidelines.” Dr. Pawat Tangthangtham, the clinic dentist, represented and accepted the award at the Empress Hotel Chiang Mai recently.
In addition to the stringent Covid-19 screening according to the safety standards of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, the Dental Department of Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai has implemented additional measures to improve air quality and reduce the risk of infection. These measures align with dental care practice guidelines during the COVID-19 outbreak announced by the Dental Council, including adjusting the direction of air movement in dental rooms with increased circulation of outside air inside, and establishing a safe air release treatment system using high-efficiency HEPA filtration. Furthermore, it includes enhancing the standard infection control system in various procedures and maintaining rigorous surface disinfection according to the BDMS hospital network standards, which are international standards.
