Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, under the BDMS group, reinforces its leadership in Green Hospital and sustainability by announcing progress in its ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives under the Carbon Neutrality 2030 Roadmap.
Outstanding Environmental Efforts
Throughout the past year, the hospital has implemented 38 environmental projects with clear outcomes including:
- Energy savings totaling 3,969 MWh
- Recycling of 243 tons of waste
- Reduction in water usage by 1,324 cubic meters
- Reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 3,226 tons CO₂

Greenhouse Gas Reduction Performance (GHG Reduction Performance 2024–2025)
- Golf Service: Reduced emissions by 89 tons from over 521,000 km of vehicle travel
- Solar Cell: Producing up to 702,260 kWh/month, expected to reduce carbon by 3,748 tons (2024) and 3,087 tons (2025)
- Upcycling and SCGP: Reprocessing waste materials like plastics, expected to further reduce carbon by 1.3 tons in 2025
