Recently, the Chiang Mai Tourism Business Association, the Thai Lanna Spa Association, and Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai jointly organized a project for training in proper basic life support methods at Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa Chiang Mai.
With Dr. Srisakul Thippakmon, an emergency medicine physician from the Center of Excellence in Trauma and Emergency at Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, leading the team to provide training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) according to international standards. This aims to enhance skills and knowledge that can be practically applied in real emergencies.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Supamit Kijjapipat, President of the Chiang Mai Tourism Business Association, who delivered the opening remarks, and Mr. Watcharapong Klinpranee, representing the Thai Lanna Spa Association, who welcomed the trainees.
From this project, Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai has transferred extensive knowledge to personnel from various sectors of the tourism industry. This prepares them to apply basic life support skills and initial first aid in real-life situations, ensuring they can become heroes in the future.
