Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai Expands with New Health and Lifestyle Center “Bangkok Plaza 2”

Chiang Mai, December 25, 2024: Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai celebrates the festive season while witnessing the soft opening of Bangkok Plaza 2, a new lifestyle health center featuring a curated selection of Chiang Mai’s most popular restaurants and more. Exciting health packages and gifts from clinics will also be given away at the event.
Dr Narintara Boonjongcharoen, Hospital Director of the Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai and CEO Group 4 BDMS, revealed that Bangkok Plaza 2 is expected to be the newest landmark for both Chiang Mai residents and visitors. Located on Super Highway Chiang Mai-Lampang, the center is open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and caters to both health and lifestyle needs. It houses a pharmacy, a supermarket, a variety of restaurants and beverage shops, and coffee shops, all carefully selected to deliver an exceptional experience to customers.
With a total area of over 3,800 square meters, Bangkok Plaza 2 highlights its position as a “lifestyle health center” and features:
- Save Drug: Covering over 150 square meters and operated by Bangkok Dusit Medical Services
- Sky Walk: A second-floor walkway that connects directly to Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, allowing visitors to easily access various restaurants and shops within minutes. A drive-thru service is also available for added convenience.
- Renowned restaurants: A diverse range of restaurants offering various cuisines, including authentic Thai food, local dishes, international cuisine, beverages, catering to the preferences of Chiang Mai residents and visitors to Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai.
- Support for local businesses: A portion of the shops in Bangkok Plaza 2 are owned by locals, contributing to the economic growth of Chiang Mai.

Bangkok Plaza 2 will have a soft opening on December 25, 2027, with the building illuminated with Christmas lights to celebrate the upcoming New Year. At the event, visitors who present a receipt from Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, Bangkok Plaza 1, or Bangkok Plaza 2 will have a chance to win one of 16 “Health Package” prizes through a gachapon machine. Prizes include the “Healthy New Year 2025” health checkup package worth 2,025 baht (5 packages), the “CT Coronary Artery Calcium” package for checking fat and plaque in the coronary arteries worth 4,500 baht (2 packages), the “Vo2Max/CPET with EKG” package for measuring physical fitness levels worth 5,600 baht, the “ CT Chest Low Dose” lung cancer screening package worth 5,900 baht (3 packages), the “Eye Screening Package” worth 2,500 baht(3 packages), and ear, nose, and throat examinations with audiograms for individuals over 5 years old (2 packages).
