    Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, to support and prepare for Chiang Mai Tourism, sent the Doctors who are travel lovers to “Thai Tiew Nua” fair held by Central Festival Chiang Mai and Tourism Authority of Thailand during 26-30 March 2021. At the event, the doctors friendly shared their impressive traveling experiences also provided beneficial health tips.

     

    On the first day of the event, Pawallaya Lertboonyapan, D.D.S. and Bumrung Suchaitanawanit, D.D.S. from the Dental clinic joined “Eat & Smile: Your Confident Trip” conversation. The doctors shared their splendid experiences about travel in Thailand, which has many delicious foods and several beautiful locations for taking photos. The doctors also answered questions about dental services such as taking care of teeth at different ages, Invisalign (Clear Aligners), and pain-free or sedation dentistry. In the end, they summarized that the stronger and more beautiful teeth we have, the more confidently we smile. Whatever we eat and wherever we go, we will enjoy the trip.

     

    On the last day of the event with the topic of “Tiew Tua Thai Praw Tai Reakrong” – Everyone can travel in Thailand even you have kidney disease. Dr. Nantawan Tinroonroj, a nephrologist, confirmed that patients with kidney disease can travel, but need to be well prepared. The doctor also provided suggestions for preparing the patients and their relatives when traveling. Especially, preparing when traveling in COVID-19 situation, as well as for summer excursions. Finally, the doctor recommended the necessary documents for treatment, hemodialysis, and tips that patients should know.
