The policy covers victims of road accidents with an initial amount of 30,000 baht.

              Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai accepts patients using the Motor Vehicle Accident Protection Act benefits up to 30,000 Baht. Simply provide all the necessary documents to claim under the Act, and the entitlement can be availed without any upfront payment.

In the event of a motor vehicle accident, whether involving a car or motorcycle, it is recommended to do as follows:

1. Immediately transport the injured to Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai or report the incident by calling 1719, a 24-hour hotline.
2. Verify the insurance and inform the hospital staff and your insurance company immediately.
   • Compulsory motor insurance or the Motor Vehicle Accident Protection Act.
   • Voluntary car insurance (Class 1, 2, 3 car insurance).
3. Prepare the necessary documents for claiming under the Motor Vehicle Accident Protection Act as follows:
   1.  Involved person
      • Copy of ID card or driver’s license.
      • Copy of the Motor Vehicle Act policy / copy of vehicle registration book or sales contract (for vehicles without registration number) / copy of tax label (any one of these).
      • Certificate of incident occurrence (in case of using the incident certificate within 24 hours, specifically for the policy by the Central Insurance Company, the hospital will prepare the document for information filling).
      • Original daily log from the police station (the log must clearly state the incident details, date-time, location, vehicle registration, chassis number, driver’s name, passenger’s name).
        
        In case of using the daily log, the following applies:
        • The incident involves another party.
        • The policy is by other companies, with the Central Insurance Company acting on behalf.
        • Self-slide/fall, collision with non-vehicle objects, collision with a dog or other pets.

        In case the involved person has no ID card

        • Copy of birth certificate or house registration of the child.
        • Copy of ID card of the father, mother, or guardian.
   2. Driver’s documents
      • Copy of ID card or driver’s license (Central Insurance: if the involved person is not the driver).
      • Copy of ID card + house registration, 2 sets.
   3. Vehicle owner’s documents (certified on every copy)
      • Copy of ID card and house registration.
      • Copy of the Motor Vehicle Act policy schedule.
      • Copy of voluntary insurance policy schedule (if available).
