BES

Basic Life Support Team

  • Staff
    EMT and Emergency Nurse
  • Service
    EMS and Interfacility Transfer by ground ambulance and commercial flight (Medical Escort)
  • Equipment
    Basic vital sign monitor, AED, Transport Suction and infusion pump
  • Capabilities
    Include but are not limited to: monitoring vital signs, patient assessment, airway management, oxygen and medication delivery, application of dressings and bandages, splinting of extremities, spinal immobilization, and administering CPR including the use of an AED under supervision of medical control physician

Advanced Life Support Team

  • Staff
    EMT, Emergency Nurse and Physician
  • Service
    EMS by ground ambulance and Interfacility Transfer by Air, Sea and Ground Transport
  • Equipment
    Advance monitor with defibrillator, NIV-mode Transport Ventilator, Transport Suction and infusion pump.
  • Capabilities
    Include but are not limited to: Advanced airway management, Ventilation support with NIV mode, cardiac monitoring and defibrillation, and administration of select life-saving medications

Critical Care

  • Staff
    EMT, Emergency Nurse with one critical care experienced nurse and Emergency Physician
  • Service
    Interfacility Transfer in both Air, Sea and Ground Transport
  • Equipment
    Advance monitor with defibrillator and cardiac pacemaker, Transport Suction and infusion pump, and Transport Volume Ventilator.
  • Capabilities
    Include but are not limited to: Advanced airway management, cardiac monitoring and defibrillation, mechanical ventilation care and administration of select life-saving medications.

Specialty Care

  • Staff
    EMT, 1 Emergency Nurse, 1 Special care nurse and Specialist including
    • Cardiologist for Cardiac Care Transport
    • Neonatologist for Neonatal Transport
    • Pediatric intensivist for Pediatric Intensive Care Transport
    • Cardiothoracic surgeon and Perfusionist for ECMO Transport
  • Service
    Interfacility Transfer in both Air and Ground Transport
  • Equipment
    In addition to Critical Care Transport, equipment may include Transport incubator, Transport IABP and ECMO.
  • Capabilities
    In addition to advanced-level medical operations, the team also have experience in taking care of patients with specific medical problem and age groups that require special care and equipment.
