Grade 1
No prolapse with
or without bleeding

Grade 2
Prolapse during
bowel movement with
spontaneous reduction.
Grade 3
Prolapse during
straining, coughing,
sneezing or lifting heavy
objects, requiring
manual reduction.
Grade 4
Prolapse with
Inability to be
manually reduced.
Complicated
hemorrhoid
