Heart Health Screening
As we age, heart health should be ensured. People who pose risks of heart disease often include people aged over 40, people with a family history of premature heart disease (diagnosed with heart disease before the age of 45 in male and 55 in female), patients with certain underlying conditions, e.g. hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia and central obesity. Unhealthy habits, e.g. smoking, alcohol drinking, being physically inactive and consuming high-fat diets also contribute to heart disease. To ensure healthy heart, annual heart screening is highly recommended.
