Who Is this test recommended for?
This program is designed to detect underlying respiratory abnormalities, asthma, and airway diseases that may not be identified through a chest X-ray alone. It is particularly suitable for individuals who have risk factors or suggestive symptoms of respiratory conditions.
- Individuals with chronic respiratory symptoms – Those experiencing a persistent cough lasting more than 1–2 months, shortness of breath during physical activity, or wheezing.
- Individuals regularly exposed to air pollution or environmental irritants – Who live or work in areas with high levels of PM2.5, who are exposed to secondhand smoke, or frequently come into contact with chemicals or airborne pollutants.
- Individuals with allergies or suspected asthma – Who frequently experience coughing at night, recurrent wheezing, or respiratory symptoms triggered by changes in weather or environmental conditions.
- Current or former smokers – Individuals with a history of smoking who may be at increased risk of developing chronic respiratory diseases, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other smoking-related lung conditions.

Who Is this test recommended for?
This program is designed to provide a comprehensive assessment by evaluating lung health while also focusing on the early detection of lung cancer, which often develops without noticeable symptoms in its early stages.
High-risk individuals recommended for screening
- Current or former smokers (aged 50 years and older) – Individuals with a significant smoking history (e.g., smoking one pack per day for 20 years or the equivalent), who currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years.
Other individuals who may benefit from this screening program
- Individuals with a family history of lung cancer – Those with a first-degree relative or family member who has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
- Individuals with long-term exposure to air pollution or occupational hazards – Those who live or work in environments with high levels of PM2.5, are regularly exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, chemical substances, dust, fumes, or other occupational and environmental pollutants that may increase the risk of lung disease and lung cancer.
