Bangkok Hospital, through its Occupational Medicine Center at the Head Office, welcomed a study visit from the Division of Occupational and Environmental Diseases, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, led by Dr. Chanthana Phadungtos, Director of the Division, along with a team of occupational medicine doctors, first and third-year occupational medicine residents, and concerned staff members.
The event was honored by Dr. Saengdao Oopara, Chief Faculty of the Institute of Occupational Health Excellence, along with a team of occupational medicine doctors and nurses. They welcomed the visitors, delivered lectures, and exchanged knowledge on the comprehensive occupational medicine service within the context of a private hospital, including the role of Bangkok Hospital as a consultant in occupational medicine for large business organizations.
The objective of this study visit was to enhance knowledge, develop skills, and expand the network of cooperation in surveillance, prevention, and control of occupational and environmental diseases. Furthermore, the visit aimed to promote the role of Bangkok Hospital as a model institution of occupational health, which is ready to support learning and serve as a training center for occupational medicine personnel at the national level.
