Hospitals within the BDMS network, led by Samitivej Hospital and Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, introduced the innovation of Tytocare, a preliminary health examination device. This facilitates online medical consultations (Teleconsultation), helping connect interactions between doctors and patients by reducing close contact, especially while waiting for the test results when staying in the hospital for patient examinations that meet the criteria for disease investigation. This reduces the use of limited medical and public health resources to most efficiently care for patients. Tytocare is a set of preliminary health examination devices that are easily portable, for measuring temperature with an infrared thermometer, examining the lungs and heart with an auscultation system and transmitting sound data, including ears, throat, and skin with an imaging and video system to enable doctors to diagnose online. It is designed for patients to use independently. The Tytocare device has been certified by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
