Scarless thyroid surgery through the mouth

Dr. Phudit Pungchantaradej and Dr. Marut Siriwattanadechakul Assistant Director of Bangkok Hospital jointly presided over the opening ceremony of the press conference on “Bangkok Hospital introduces the technique of scarless transoral thyroidectomy” with Dr. Ratnaporn Smittharaks, an endocrinologist, Dr. Phasakorn Tawarun, an otolaryngologist, and Dr. Thanyawat Sasanakietikul, a head, neck, breast and thyroid surgeon, contributing knowledge on the procedure of scarless transoral thyroidectomy. This represents a new option for patients to alleviate concerns over neck scars, enhance confidence in treatment, and reduce the chance of vocal cord injuries, at Meeting Room 8D1, 8th floor of Bangkok Hospital, on February 21, 2018.
