The Southern Border Provinces Administration Center (SBPAC) organized activities to promote the development of Arabic language skills for youths in the southern border provinces at Bangkok Hospital.

Dr. Dulay Damrongsak, Assistant Chairman of the Executive Board, Group 1, Bangkok Hospital, along with Ms. Sunisa Ramkaew, Assistant Secretary-General of the Public Relations Department (PRD), presided over the opening of “Activities to Promote the Development of Arabic Language Skills for Youth in the Southern Border Provinces at Bangkok Hospital Headquarters”, an activity that helps develop Arabic language skills to promote careers in interpretation and health services. This was initiated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchada Thanadirek, Deputy Government Spokesperson at the Prime Minister’s Office, and special government representative in solving and developing issues in the southern border provinces. This project selected students with Arabic language skills from institutes of higher education in the area, 2 batches, 10 students per batch, to participate in interpretation skills training and providing services to patients from Middle Eastern countries at Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, during August – December 2023, to develop the language skills of the youth from the southern border provinces, enhancing their capability for occupations that improve quality leading to the global labor market.
