Hospitals within the BDMS Network include Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, the Phyathai Hospital Group, the Paolo Hospital Group, and Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital. They supported medical personnel, nurses, physical therapists, sports science experts, necessary equipment, and emergency ambulances for the Badminton Association of Thailand in two world championship events: the TotalEnergies BWF Thomas and Uber Cup Finals 2022 from May 8 – 15, 2022, and the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Thailand Open 2022 from May 17 -22, 2022 . Services were provided to approximately 1,000 athletes, team officials, and executives from the World Badminton Federation from 21 countries across 5 continents throughout the competition. This included care for injuries and physical therapy according to international standards. In addition, Save Drug Center Company Limited, a pharmacy in the BDMS network and a health consultant, hosted a booth offering advice to athletes and participants on the appropriate and correct use of medications throughout the 14 days at the Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani
Moreover, hospitals in the BDMS network are fully equipped with medical personnel, nurses skilled in sports science, patient care, and athlete care. They are ready to provide advice and guidance on exercise, nutrition, psychology, etc., to ensure athletes are well-cared for medically and can compete at their full potential, in line with the standards of the World Badminton Federation (BWF) throughout the competition.
