Bangkok Hospital reinforces its commitment to promoting health and sustainable sports participation in collaboration with STAGE Find The Real U by organizing the swimming competition “STAGE 50Meters Super Sprint Powered by Bangkok Hospital” —an individual and relay swimming event for children and adults. This year marks the 2 nd consecutive year, and it has received an overwhelmingly positive response, with a full roster of 260 participants (180 youth and 80 adults) , reflecting the continuously growing interest in health care and the development of sports skills.
On this occasion, Ms. Jiaranai Boonprasatsuk, Marketing Director, Group 1 , Bangkok Hospital, was honored to serve as the chairperson presenting awards to the athletes, and spoke about the concept of supporting swimming as follows: “Swimming is considered one of the best forms of exercise and sport for physical health because it is a low-impact exercise (Low-impact Exercise) that helps reduce the risk of injury. It is especially suitable for protecting and strengthening the bones and joints, whether for children, youth, or adults. Bangkok Hospital is therefore ready to provide support to encourage Thai people to exercise safely and maintain good long-term well-being”
In addition to treatment and health promotion, Bangkok Hospital also places importance on the systematic care and development of athletes’ potential through the Sports and Exercise Medicine Institute Bangkok Hospital (Bangkok Academy of Sports and Exercise Medicine: BASEM) , a center of excellence in sports medicine that has been accredited by the FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence
Supporting the competition “STAGE 50Meters Super Sprint Powered by Bangkok Hospital” is therefore another collaboration to promote exercise and sports participation as part of health care, while creating an environment conducive to developing Thai athletes’ potential to a recognized standard and growing alongside a good long-term quality of life.
