October 21 of every year is National Nurses Day to honor Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother, as she completed her nursing education and devoted her life to the royal duties of improving health and quality of life for the people, setting an example for the nursing profession to be aware of the value of their profession and being a role model for society.
Bangkok Hospital places great importance on the nursing profession, which cares for patients in all their illnesses, with a heart of service ready to sacrifice for everyone to have good health. An award ceremony for the pride of the nursing profession, “Good Nurse 2566” has been organized for outstanding nurses who perform their duties to the best of their ability. The honor was given by Dr. Methinee Haimaeng, President of Executive Group 1 and Director of Bangkok Hospital, congratulating and awarding Good Nurse to Ms. Jenchira Wongsi Nak, a professional nurse Level 3 (ICU1) at Bangkok Hospital, honored by Dr. Kriengkrai Hengrasmee, Director of Bangkok Heart Hospital, awarding Ms. Wasana Kerdputh, a professional nurse Level 4 (CCU2) at Bangkok Heart Hospital, honored by Special Professor Dr. Teerawut Kuhapremma, Director of Bangkok Cancer Hospital Watthanosot, awarding Ms. Phornnipha Khampanat, a professional nurse Level 4 (Oncology) at Bangkok Cancer Hospital Watthanosot, and honored by Dr. Asawin Poowathonsarn, Assistant Director of Bangkok International Hospital, awarding Ms. Choosang Poolphon, Clinical Nurse Educator 5 (OR) at Bangkok International Hospital. Also, a special DAISY Awards at the Management level was given to Ms. Natthayan Choksasomnithiphop, Nursing Manager (Critical Patients 1-8), amidst an atmosphere filled with warmth and pride in the nursing profession.
