ICHOM (International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement) is a global organization that sets standards for patient-centered outcomes measurement (Patient-Centered Outcomes Measurement: PCOMs) to enhance the quality and value of healthcare by focusing on outcomes that truly reflect patients’ quality of life—not only curing disease, but also rehabilitation and returning to normal life.
In November 2025, two hospitals under Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited were audited for ICHOM international standard certification and have successfully been certified, namely:
- Wattanosoth Hospital (Cancer Hospital) has been certified to the ICHOM Level 2 international standard in breast cancer (Breast Cancer).
- Bangkok Hospital Pattaya (Bangkok Hospital Pattaya) has been certified to the ICHOM Level 2 international standard in stroke (Stroke) and coronary artery disease (Coronary Artery Disease).
