Presided over the opening of the annual 2566 “BDMS ACADEMIC ANNUAL MEETING 2023”
On November 3, 2566 at 15.00 hrs. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn arrived at BDMS Connect Center to preside over the opening of the annual academic conference of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (PLC) for the Buddhist year 2566 (BDMS ACADEMIC ANNUAL MEETING 2023) with Dr. Prasert Prasarttong-Osoth, founder of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (PLC) and Dr. Poramaporn Prasarttong-Osoth, Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, along with the organizing committee in attendance to welcome Her Royal Highness.
On this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn gave the following royal address:
I am pleased to preside over the annual academic conference of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (PLC) for the Buddhist year 2566 on the topic A Road to Lifelong Well-Being
This conference focuses on the elderly, who are a significant group in today’s Thai society, just as in many countries around the world. Advances in various fields, such as medicine, public health, innovation, and technology, help enhance the health and quality of life for the elderly. Different inventions make daily life easier for them. Many are able to engage in social activities, undertake projects, or volunteer according to their physical capability and accumulated knowledge or experience. Caring for the elderly requires physical and mental care, and thus relies on both professional knowledge and compassion. I hope that the exchange of ideas at this conference will generate new knowledge beneficial for appropriate, systematic, and sustainable elderly care.
The time is now right, and I hereby declare the academic conference open. I wish for the conference to achieve its intended outcomes, and for all participants to be in good health, and have bright and happy minds”
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn viewed the exhibitions showcasing innovations from the BDMS hospital groups, including Bangkok Hospital Group, Samitivej Hospital Group, BNH Hospital, Phyathai Hospital Group, Paolo Hospital Group, BDMS Wellness Clinic, and companies in the health support business sector, such as National Healthcare Systems Co., Ltd., SafeDrug Center Co., Ltd., Health Plaza Co., Ltd., Sahapat Group, ANB Laboratory Co., Ltd., as well as the initiatives of Dusit Medical Services Foundation and the President Award project. Subsequently, Her Royal Highness took a commemorative photo with the organizing committee and signed the guest book before departing.
Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (PLC) or BDMS has organized joint academic conferences annually for over 18 years, aiming to exchange knowledge, technological advancements, and academic experiences with medical personnel from various fields within BDMS, to be applied for the greatest benefit going forward.
