BDMS ACADEMIC ANNUAL MEETING 2018

Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited, in collaboration with its affiliated hospitals and companies, including the Bangkok Hospital Group, Samitivej Hospitals, BNH Hospital, Phyathai Hospitals, Paolo Hospital, Royal Hospital, and N Health, organized the annual BDMS Academic Meeting 2018 under the theme “Excellent Healthcare Network: Medical Advances Meet Compassion”. This event invited leading local and international medical experts to share their knowledge and experiences with over 1,500 doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, physical therapists, and medical professionals who participated.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the opening ceremony, with Dr. Prasert Prasarttong-Osoth, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Co., Ltd., and Dr. Poramaporn Prasarttong-Osoth, President of the Bangkok Hospital Group, along with the management team and the organizing committee, welcoming her at the Intercontinental Hotel.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn delivered a royal speech, part of which stated: “I am pleased to preside over the opening of the academic conference organized by Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Co., Ltd. for the year 2561 BE that takes place today. The main concept, Excellent Healthcare Network: Medical Advances Meet Compassion, set for this academic conference, is deemed appropriate. Nowadays, no matter how much medical science and patient treatment technologies have advanced, caring for patients with adherence to moral principles, compassion, and attentiveness without discrimination is still crucial for those who take care of patients’ lives. It is strictly essential for patients to feel positive and have the strength to fight disease and illness. The modern advancements in science and technology, along with the concept of morals that have been upheld, should go hand in hand and not be separated from each other. One aspect in which morality helps social normalization and peaceful coexistence among people.”
