Bangkok Hospital and Bangkok Heart Hospital, together with Private Nirvana and STAGE Find The Real U, want everyone to be aware of the silent danger of high blood pressure that may unknowingly affect the heart, kidneys, and metabolic system. They held the activity “High blood pressure shows no symptoms, it may damage your heart every day” at STAGE Find The Real U, inviting Private Nirvana residents and STAGE Find The Real U sports club members to take part in preventive healthcare and stay informed about the CKM disease group: Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic, or the group of heart, kidney, and metabolic diseases (diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood lipids, and abdominal obesity), which are systemically interconnected and increasingly found in people of all ages.
At the event, we were honored by the presence of Ms. Siwattaraporn Srisan, Senior Manager, Marketing Communications and Corporate Image Department, Bangkok Hospital, and Ms. Sukanda Phichakorn-eksit, Brand Director of STAGE Find The Real U, who warmly welcomed members and attendees. In addition, we were honored by a team of specialist physicians: Dr. Chayapon Cheetanom, Internist, Bangkok Hospital, who shared knowledge on the topic “High blood pressure! A silent threat that doesn’t discriminate by age,” and Dr. Wasupol Manomaiphan, Cardiologist, Bangkok Heart Hospital, who provided knowledge on the topic “Heart disease doesn’t start at the heart: Know and understand CKM.” In addition, attendees received free basic health screening services such as blood pressure measurement, blood oxygen level testing, fingertip blood sugar testing, basic vision screening, preliminary ASCVD Risk heart disease risk assessment, and screening for NCDs risk. Participants could consult a doctor at the event immediately if risks or abnormalities were found. There were also interesting activities such as the CardioWatch Bracelet Experience, a vision test game, a food label reading game to stay informed about CKM Syndrome, and a Lucky Draw with chances to win many special prizes amid a warm, friendly, and fun atmosphere throughout the event.
